How many counselling sessions will I need?
There is no guaranteed number of suggested sessions, as each individual is unique, with different requirements and needs with regards to counselling. I recommend coming for an initial six sessions, and then will mutually review their progress, deciding on how best to proceed.
How much does it cost?
All of my counselling sessions cost €70, and last for 50 minutes to an hour.
What are your qualifications?
I hold an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Middlesex University.
Are these sessions confidential?
Everything discussed during counselling is private. However, in circumstances where I may have reason to believe that a person is a danger to themselves or others, I shall discuss my concerns with the person in an effort to move the matter forward by mutual agreement.
Are you affiliated with any professional counselling bodies?
I am a Fully Accredited Member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and I abide by their code of ethics.
What age group of people do you work with?
I provide counselling for people from the age of 18 upwards.
